International Circulation:  You mention the hot line session but you are also the Chairman.  What about some of the exciting trial results that will be presented here at the ESC 2009?

Fausto Pinto:  We were very fortunate to have very important trials that presented here.  This is just the first hot line that we just saw， that is the one that I can talk about.  We had here five different trials， quite important and all of them， if I could select a couple of them， I would say that the PLATEAU and the RE-LY trial because of the number of patients involved is about 18，000 patients.  There are very robust and very significant trials that may also have impact in terms of clinical management in terms of patient management and clinical implications.  But we are very happy to have over 100 trials that were submitted for presentation of hot lines and CTUs.  We could only select 34 of them and we have about 54 submissions for the science hot line to select 6 of these presentations for the science hot line.  So again this shows that the ESC congress is the platform that attracts the best research that is done world wide coming from all over the world.  And also it attracts the best clinical trials.

International Circulation:  Just looking at some of your own work there.  You have published an article about CIN， contrast induced nephropathy?

Fausto Pinto:  Yeah， I would rather prefer to talk about the congress.

International Circulation:  Well the rest of my questions were about your CIN works.

Fausto Pinto:  I don’t think it makes sense， I can talk to you about the congress but that is what I would like to do.
