    <International Circulation>: It is thought that door-to-balloon time influences STEMI outcomes. How has ischemic time influenced STEMI treatment outcomes?

    Dr Thiele: The most important thing that we are now aware of is that ischemic time has an impact on outcome. This is the most important thing we have currently learnt from this and that is the reason why we have to influence the ischemic time. As you mentioned， door-to-balloon time is one component of the ischemic time which has to be influenced.

    Thiele博士：缺血时间会影响预后是目前我们需要知道的最重要的事情，这是目前我们了解的最重要的事情，同样也是我们要对缺血时间进行干预的原因。正如你所说，急诊室至首次球囊扩张时间是对缺血时间进行干预的构成要素之一。

    <International Circulation>:  What is the best way to evaluate ischemic time accurately?

  《国际循环》：准确评估缺血时间的最佳方法是什么?

    Dr Thiele:  It’s a difficult question because in many patients we do not know when the symptoms really started. Many patients have sporadic angina and some patients cannot accurately recall the time when symptoms began. So sometimes it is very difficult.

    Thiele博士：这是个非常棘手的问题，因为对于许多病人来说我们并不知道其症状真正的起始时间。许多患者有突发心绞痛，也有部分患者不能准确地回忆起症状开始发作的时间，所以有时候评估缺血时间是非常困难的。
